JBCN Borivali Hosts Young Innovators Challenge Awards

The Global Young Innovators Challenge 2026 reached its conclusion on September 16, 2026, through a partnership between JBCN International School Borivali and the SP Jain School of Global Management. Over 700 students from 42 schools participated in the event, presenting a variety of solutions for modern sustainability issues. The program ended with an awards ceremony to celebrate the student teams that demonstrated excellence in their project work.

Project Zenitech from Reliance Foundation School was a standout entry, earning a fully funded place at the SP Jain Singapore Summer School valued at SGD 3,200. This recognition points to the ways young thinkers can contribute to the field of sustainable development. Other top honors went to Sustain X from MVN School and Change Trinity from JBCN Borivali, who both received fee waivers for summer school programs in Mumbai.

The challenge was designed for students in grades 9 to 12, focusing on the intersection of entrepreneurial skills and environmental concerns. By encouraging critical thinking and creative work, the initiative helped participants develop practical methods for addressing sustainability. Students worked together in a collaborative setting to brainstorm and polish their ideas before presenting them to the judging panel.
