Alpex Solar has taken a significant step in its renewable energy journey by inaugurating a 2.2 GW G12R TOPCon solar cell manufacturing facility in the Kosi Kotwan Industrial Area, Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh, on September 17, 2026. This 900,000-square-foot factory is the first integrated TOPCon giga-scale production line in the state, aiming to enhance the company’s manufacturing capacity for solar cells. Aditya Sehgal, CEO of Alpex Solar, noted that this facility marks a critical milestone in the transition from a solar module manufacturer to a more integrated renewable energy company, reinforcing the company’s commitment to serving India’s growing solar market.
