On September 10-11, 2026, actor Christian Bale participated in the opening of Together California, a foster care village located in Palmdale, California. This innovative facility, which Bale helped to create, aims to keep siblings together during their time in foster care. It is the first of its kind in the state, addressing a significant need in the foster care system where siblings are often separated. The community consists of 12 furnished homes situated on a 4.67-acre site and is designed to house up to 72 children.
