Just a Change Renovates Homes for Families in Lagoa

Between August 31 and September 12, 2026, volunteers from the Portuguese non-profit organization Just a Change completed renovations on five homes in the Lagoa municipality. This initiative benefited 13 individuals, including six children, by significantly enhancing their living conditions. The renovations were made possible through a financial contribution of €33,227.68 from Lagoa Council, which also assisted with logistics for the project. The work carried out by the volunteers focused on improving safety, comfort, and hygiene in the homes, transforming inadequate living spaces into safer and more dignified environments for the families involved.
